The Gist of GDPR: What it Means for U.S. Businesses
Is your organization GDPR compliant? Should it be?
The European Union has enacted sweeping data privacy legislation – the Global Data Protection Act (GDPR), and it has significant and far-reaching impact on U.S. businesses. GDPR imposes strict requirements on how consumer data is collected, used, and stored – and the laws and fines apply to U.S. companies doing business in the EU.
Now that the legislation is in effect, many U.S. organizations are finding themselves scrambling to understand the impact on programs ranging from information security and privacy, to human resources and marketing.
View this session as we guide you through the essentials of GDPR compliance and provide an understanding of the most critical requirements and challenges typically faced by US companies.
